Vintage Bicycle Werkes is proud to offer the 1992 LeMond Maillot Jaune frameset. LeMond frame production in the early 90’s was split between Della Santa and Billato before Trek took over in 1995. This Maillot Jaune was built in Italy by Billato with Columbus TSX tubing and LeMond’s signature embossed on the seat stays and rear brake bridge. The frameset was the top-of-the-line steel frame available from LeMond’s importer 10-Speed Drive at the time.

The frameset is in gorgeous original condition with very little wear considering its 33 years of age. The gloss red paint still shines nicely and there are no dents or signs of corrosion present.

The frame is a 56cm center to center with the traditionally long LeMond top tube at 56.5cm. The derailleur hanger is straight and the threads of the Italian bottom bracket shell are clean and in good shape.
